Elizabeth Mollen is the founder of Stone Textile Studio, a Chicago-based design firm known for its modern, layered interiors that seamlessly blend classic and contemporary elements. Elizabeth’s passion for design began at a young age, influenced by her grandparents’ appreciation for art and antiques. Growing up in Chicago, she spent her time redecorating her childhood bedroom and later pursued a degree in textile and apparel design and art history. After college, she gained experience in the fashion industry working with designers in New York and Los Angeles, where she honed her eye for pattern and detail. Inspired by vintage finds, her grandmother’s jewelry, and her background in fashion, Elizabeth launched Stone Textile Studio in 2012, initially focusing on textiles and pillows. The studio has since expanded to include a full line of wallpapers, fabrics, rugs, and custom furniture. Specializing in residential interior design, Stone Textile Studio is celebrated for its curated, timeless spaces. Elizabeth’s work has been featured in Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and Domino, and she was named one of LUXE Magazine’s Next In Design.

Absolutely. Whether you're seeking fast-acting advice or diving into a full transformation, our community of designers is flexible when it comes to project size and scope. No question is too small, and no vision is too grand.
How can I prep for my consultation call?
Gather your design ideas and all forms of inspiration (think: sketches, photos, color swatches and images from your chosen designer’s portfolio). The more prepared you are for your consultation, the more personalized and productive your consultation call will be. You are welcome to have family members and architects present to optimize your time.
How long are the consultation calls?
You have two options — 30 minutes and 60 minutes. The half-hour call is great for quick questions and decision making, like choosing paint colors or reviewing some of your selections before pulling the trigger. You're in control. Submit a full-service inquiry for a traditional interior design experience where you have a professional taking a hands-on approach from start to finish. What is your cancellation policy?
